It should have been within the fall of 2011 that I first noticed the work of the good Senga Nengudi. That is when artwork historian and curator Kellie Jones offered the landmark exhibition Now Dig This!: Artwork and Black Los Angeles, 1960-1980 at LA’s Hammer Museum.
